Do you think that all the “good” Halloween costumes are made for the skinny girls and that you’re relegated to being a Mother Superior or the Statue of Liberty for Halloween? No way! Today’s plus sized Halloween costumes run the gamut, from silly to sexy to retro to fabulous.

Here is a list of just a few plus sized Halloween costumes that are readily available from mainstream costume makers: sexy cantina girl, disco diva, “Pink Lady” (from the movie Grease), Red Riding Hood, Indian princess, Roman empress, sexy witch, Lucy from “I Love Lucy,” “naughty” nun, referee, flapper, and hippie. And those are just a few.

Finally some of the costume makers out there figured out that big girls can look great in costumes too, and they want some of the same options others have always had. Halloween is one of the most fun holidays of the year, so don’t be left out of the fun next time. Keep in mind that the year’s more popular costumes will sell out quickly, and so you’ll want to shop early to have the best selection.

There’s no reason whatsoever to relegate yourself to frumpy Halloween costumes just because you’re plus sized. There are some terrific looking plus sized Halloween costumes that are readily available at some very reasonable prices today. Get out there and party, and look terrific while you’re at it.
